Jeff Blanton has more than 25 years of experience managing large, strategic projects in the consumer products and medical device industries. His extensive experience includes positions in multiple disciplines: strategic planning, product development, quality/regulatory affairs, engineering, facilities, operations and general management.

His ability to quickly unscramble the most difficult of situations to define a clear direction, his unique planning process, and his rare ability to enroll team members, have made Jeff extremely successful in the implementation of strategic projects.

Jeff is a well-known speaker and brings passion, energy and expert knowledge to the topic of strategic project management. He is also the creator of the Strategic Project Navigator™, and has taught hundreds of businesses how to obtain their most significant goals through effective project delivery. In 2001, Jeff founded Waypoint Leadership, a leading firm focusing on critical project execution. Waypoint Leadership clients have ranged from very early stage to multi-billion dollar international companies.

Jeff has managed the full spectrum of projects including M&A integrations, product commercialization, plant closures, turn around initiatives and international projects to name a few.

He is a Certified Project Manager (PMP), and the author and creator of The 7 Laws of Critical Project Execution and The 100-Day Integration Plan. When he is not in the office, you’ll probably find Jeff pursuing his other passions: sailboat racing, golfing, and hiking.
