Free Mentorship in Food Manufacturing Quality

Do you know an aspiring quality control professional who needs a little bit of mentorship?

Our Foundation has received funding to pay for Karina Rodriguez to mentor five entry-level Quality professionals in food manufacturing facilities within commuting distance of Orange County.

Karina provides mentorship in food manufacturing qualityKarina is a Quality Control Consultant for food manufacturing. For our clients, she has been responsible for drafting SOPs, GMPs, HACCP plans, training QA employees in English and in Spanish and inspecting facilities. She has a Masters in Food Science, is a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified HACCP Auditor (CHA) and is a FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). She is fluent in English and Spanish.

The funding will cover for free:

  • Two hours of in-person mentorship onsite per month
  • Two hours of mentorship via phone, text, email etc… per month
  • Six months of mentorship
  • Free copies of templates she believes are a fit for your company
  • Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) primer and exam fees

To take advantage of the program, the nominee must have already worked for the company full-time for at least 6 months, is fluent in English, and has at least an Associate Degree or higher. Other criteria may be applied.
