Formulations Product Development Lab Tech Contract in Irvine, CA

Our client needs a Contractor to work as Product Development Professional. Contract is estimated for 12 months at their facility in Irvine, CA. Possibility for conversion to full-time after a year. We offer benefits including employer contribution to healthcare for this position. You must have authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).

Requirements. Must Have!
Minimum of 1 year lab tech experience
Live within commuting distance of Irvine, CA

This position will be responsible for conducting formulation projects in collaboration with dermatology staff scientists product and process development team.

The Formulations Product Development Lab Tech will create laboratory batches, perform experiments, manage raw material inventories, conduct sample testing testing and analysis (including but not limited to stability, package functionality, etc.), and support pilot/scale-up documentation and activities.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in topical cosmetic/OTC formulations is required.
2. Candidate should possess a good overall working knowledge of common laboratory methods and has experience operating laboratory equipment and process knowledge is required to make formulation batches.
3. Experience in scale-up and manufacturing would be a plus
